Shane and Zoe met in Mrs. Nealon’s 3rd grade class at Rancho Rosal Elementary School. Shane can still remember playing tag with Zoe and their friends on the playground. They continued to be friends growing up and were even on the same wrestling team in highschool! In October 2019, Shane told Zoe about his feelings for her and she expressed the same. The following week, Shane met Zoe’s family and began courting her, bringing flowers to Zoe and her mom and coming over for dinner every Friday night to get to know Zoe and her parents more. In December 2019, Shane asked Zoe to be his girlfriend and they have been falling for each other more and more ever since. The following years, they were able to experience COVID, medium distance relationship, and learning to cook with each other. They experienced moving out of their childhood homes and going to college together. And through it all, they grew more in love. Since they were 17 years old, Shane and Zoe have always known in their relationship that they were working towards a long term relationship and in the future, marriage. In August 2024, Shane proposed and asked Zoe to marry him. She said yes! Shane and Zoe would love for you all to be part of the next milestone in their relationship and attend their wedding this June 2025.
